E. Donald Elliott is Professor (Adjunct) of Law at Yale Law School and Georgetown University Law Center. He is also a Partner and Chair of the Environmental, Health and Safety Department of the 650-lawyer international law firm, Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.

Formerly, Elliott was Assistant Administrator and General Counsel, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and held the Chair as Julien and Virginia Cornell Professor of Environmental Law and Litigation, Yale Law School, where he has been a member of the faculty since 1981.

Elliott is an expert on improving the relationship between law and science. He is a member of the National Academy of Science Board of Toxicology and Environmental Studies, and has served as a consultant on law and science to the Federal Courts Study Committee and the Carnegie Commission for Law, Science and Government. He also co-chaired the National Environmental Policy Institute's Committee on improving science at EPA.

He has been named as one of the top environmental lawyers in the U.S. by The National Law Journal, International Corporate Law, The Best Lawyers in America, Chambers, and Washington Superlawyers.

Mr. Elliott holds degrees from Yale College summa cum laude and Yale Law School.
