Gigi Georges is a Managing Director of The Glover Park Group, specializing in strategic communications in crisis management, policy advocacy, and planning for corporate clients, non-profits, educational institutions, and political campaigns. She worked previously as Communications Director for the New York City Department of Education, as State Director for Senator Hillary Clinton, and as a Special Assistant to the President in the Clinton Administration, where she coordinated domestic policy issues for the National Economic Council. As an Ash Institute research fellow at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, Georges is working with Professor Stephen Goldsmith and focusing on identifying best practices in civic entrepreneurship in education policy. Georges holds a B.A. in history from Wellesley College, a M.P.A. from Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School of International Affairs, and is a Ph.D. candidate at NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service.
