Gregg Easterbrook is the author of seven books, including, most recently, The Progress Paradox (Random House, 2003). Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google, has called The Progress Paradox “a book you must read, because it tells the truth about America today.” Mr. Easterbrook is a contributing editor for The Atlantic Monthly, The New Republic and The Washington Monthly, and a visiting fellow at the Brookings Institution. As a hobby, he writes the Tuesday Morning Quarterback column for ESPN.
