Gregg Easterbrook is the author of seven books, including, most recently, The Progress Paradox (Random House, 2003). Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google, has called The Progress Paradox “a book you must read, because it tells the truth about America today.” Mr. Easterbrook is also a contributing editor for The Atlantic Monthly and The Washington Monthly, and was a visiting fellow at the Brookings Institution. As a hobby, he writes the Tuesday Morning Quarterback column for ESPN.
