Jason S. Whetsell is a United States federal employee working as a Business Analyst for the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Center for Talent Services. The Center for Talent Services is a human resources consulting organization uniquely positioned within the federal government to drive improvements in all aspects of the human resources life-cycle across government. The organization receives no appropriated funds meaning it operates very similar to a private-sector consulting firm, but operating within the government provides a unique perspective of the federal landscape. This framework provides the organization with a business imperative to succeed which has proven successful in driving improvements in federal human resources. Prior to joining the Center for Talent Services in November of 2008, Jason worked as a procurement professional for OPM and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Headquarters where he focused on procurement policy, drove several procurement reform initiatives, and prepared correspondence for procurement management and the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB).
