Jeanie Moore is Vice President of Continuing Education Programs at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College (RCCC). Currently, Vice President Moore oversees the continuing education programs of RCCC that range from basic skills to highly technical programs in Focused Industry Training and New & Expanding Industry. In addition to her Continuing Education responsibilities, she is the liaison for the college for the North Carolina Research Campus project and oversees the RCCC Career Center. She has been a member of the Senior Leadership Team since 1996, participating in strategic planning, budgeting, facilities planning and design, and program development.

Vice President Moore is a former member of the state community college Economic Workforce Development Leadership Committee and was president of the North Carolina Community College Adult Educators’ Association from 1999 to 2000. She served as Co-Director of the North Carolina Community College Leadership Program from 1990-1992.

Vice President Moore has presented at a variety of state and national conferences covering topics such as Leadership, Continuing Education Supervision, Rapid Response to Dislocated Workers, and Biotechnology. In July 2005, Vice President Moore traveled to Philadelphia to receive the United States Department of Labor Workforce Innovations Award for the Pillowtex Project.

Vice President Moore earned a B.A. in Special Education from Greensboro College; an M.A. in Adult Education from Appalachian State University; and has completed additional studies at UNC-Greensboro. She has been employed at the college since 1977.
