Sheila Franklin is the Executive Director of the National Coalition for Promoting Physical Activity (NCPPA) where she previously held the position of Communications and Marketing Manager. Prior to joining NCPPA in 2003, she served as the Executive Director of the Maryland Recreation and Parks Association for 11 years. Sheila began her career as a Recreation Supervisor for the Wheaton Park District in Wheaton, IL. She holds a B.S. from Indiana University in Recreation and Parks Administration and a M.A. in Public Relations from Michigan State University.
