Terrie M. Williams is a licensed clinical social worker and founder of The Terrie Williams Agency and The Stay Strong Foundation. She is also the best-selling author of four books, including her latest, entitled BLACK PAIN: It Just Looks Like We’re Not Hurting (Scribner, 2008). In May 2008, Ms. Williams appeared in the critically acclaimed national PBS documentary, “Depression: Out of the Shadows”. Today, she is committed to guiding people in deep emotional pain onto a path of healing so that they may live better lives as healthy and whole individuals.
